Timothy Arleo, MD

Tim calls Ithaca, New York his hometown. He went down to Georgia to study for a BS in mechanical engineering at Georgia Tech and stayed to earn his MD from Emory. As first-year interventional radiology-integrated resident, Tim is focused on all things IR and looks forward to completing residency and fellowship training at Emory.
He says, "I chose Emory as it stands out as an exceptional institution with a collaborative and collegial learning environment. From trauma at Grady, complex tertiary and quaternary care at Emory University Hospital, to pediatric pathology at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Emory offers unparalleled breath and high case volume, both in diagnostic and interventional radiology. Having personally witnessed the collaborative and team-based environment embraced by Emory Radiology during my medical school years, I felt a strong sense of belonging and support, making this the place for me."
When not working or studying, Tim enjoys hiking, soccer, cooking (especially Italian food), biking, and traveling.
