M. Bechel, MD, PhD
Now in the third year of diagnostic radiology residency in the Research Track and the Integrated Imaging Informatics Track, Bechel is planning on fellowship training in pediatric imaging with interests in congenital heart disease, musculoskeletal imaging, improving health care delivery, and human-machine interfaces for health care.

Beyond Emory, Bechel enjoys hiking, tabletop games, and baking.
Bechel hails from Beavercreek, Ohio and earned an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from The Ohio State University. She then graduated from Northwestern University with both an MD and a PhD in biomedical engineering.
