Michael Chung, MD, PhD
Michael is a native New Yorker who earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Binghamton University in New York. He earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
His clinical interests include theragnostics, informatics and drug design and he aspires to a career in academic medicine in either neuroradiology or nuclear medicine. The first-year diagnostic radiology resident who is pursuing the Research Track chose Emory, he says, for its "world-class training, ability to see diverse cases first hand, cutting-edge research, supportive mentors, and collegial nature of its co-residents."
He confesses to being a "full-time foodie," and counts dry aging beef, exploring Europe, hiking, and hanging out at the Georgia Aquarium as his favorite activities.
