Michael Chung, MD, PhD
Michael is a third-year diagnostic radiology resident pursing the Clinician Educator and Molecular Imaging in Medicine tracks. His clinical interests include theragnostics, informatics and drug design and he aspires to a career in academic medicine in either neuroradiology or nuclear medicine.
He appreciates training at Emory because of the "world-class training, ability to see diverse cases first hand, cutting-edge research, supportive mentors, and collegial nature of its co-residents."
A native New Yorker who earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Binghamton University in New York. He earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
He confesses to being a "full-time foodie," and counts dry aging beef, exploring Europe, hiking, and hanging out at the Georgia Aquarium as his favorite activities.
