Joshua Jones, MD, PhD
As a third-year resident, Joshua is a resident leader in the Global Health Track as well as a standout in the Molecular Imaging in Medicine Track. interested in neuroradiology, cardiothoracic imaging, and vascular imaging and imagines he'll gain fellowship-level training in one of those subspecialties.
Of Emory, he says, "Emory residents are afforded significant exposure to a diverse patient population at several hospitals across the Atlanta metropolitan area, allowing for us to contribute positively to health in the region. There are also numerous research initiatives in the radiology department and across the institution that also add to Emory's reputation as a leading healthcare institution."
Joshua hails from Chicago, Illinois. He stayed in town to earn a BS in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and stayed to earn his MD from the UI School of Medicine.
Outside of working and studying, Joshua enjoys trying new restaurants as well as traveling, exercise, and spending time with family and friends.
