Joshua Jones, MD, PhD
Joshua hails from Chicago, Illinois. He stayed in town to earn a BS in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and stayed to earn his MD from the UI School of Medicine.
As a first-year resident, Joshua is interested in neuroradiology, cardiothoracic imaging, and vascular imaging and imagines he'll gain fellowship-level training in one of those subspecialties.
Of Emory, he says, "Emory residents are afforded significant exposure to a diverse patient population at several hospitals across the Atlanta metropolitan area, allowing for us to contribute positively to health in the region. There are also numerous research initiatives in the radiology department and across the institution that also add to Emory's reputation as a leading healthcare institution."
Outside of working and studying, Joshua enjoys trying new restaurants as well as traveling, exercise, and spending time with family and friends.
