Jai Jung, MD

Jai is bicoastal. While Visalia, California is his hometown, he's creating a new home life on the East Coast. After graduating from UCLA with an undergraduate degree in physiological science, Jai headed east to study at and earn his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He then headed south for both a transitional year internship and interventional radiology-integrated residency at Emory.
Innovation in interventional radiology has him already engaged in research projects and presenting about them. He says, "I chose Emory University due to its diverse patient population, comprehensive clinical training, and the opportunity to collaborate with world-renowned experts in the field of interventional radiology. The institution's esteemed reputation and renowned faculty provide invaluable guidance and mentorship, fostering both personal and professional growth. Additionally, Emory's emphasis on cutting-edge technologies and innovative techniques aligns with my dedication to continuous learning and making meaningful contributions to patient care and medical advancements."
Beyond radiology, Jai enjoyes playing tennis, hiking and playing with his dog.
