Michael Nance, MD
Michael is from Saint Louis, Missouri. He stayed in state for his undergraduate studies--biochemistry at Truman State University--and medical school--the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He came to Emory, he says, because "Emory offers a broad clinical exposure from every day cases to zebras. The case volume is very high which I feel will prepare me very well for either private practice or academics. Emory also has plenty of research opportunities and the program is resident centered." The second-year diagnostic radiology resident is currently on the Molecular Imaging in Medicine track and is considering gaining fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging, breast imaging, neuroradiology, or cardiothoracic imaging.
When not working or studying, Michael loves having coffee with his wife, playing with their kids, lifting weights, golfing, and playing basketball.
