Aravind Somasundaram, MD
A native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Aravind earned an undergraduate degree in biology from North Carolina State University before completing his medical degree at Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. With clinical interests in musculoskeletal radiology, particularly interventional procedures, as well as in clinical research and education, Aravind will remain at Emory for a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging.
He says he loves Emory because of the "diverse exposure to a variety of diagnostic and interventional cases, the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research, and the people!"
When not working, Aravind enjoys live music, basketball, hiking, and collecting art and vinyl. He also is on a quest to find the best burrito!
