Douglas Spaeth-Cook, DO
Douglas is a second-year diagnostic radiology resident participating in the Imaging Informatics Innovation Track. He's especially interested in neuroradidology, musculoskeletal imaging, emergency and trauma imaging, and interventional radiology.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Douglas earned a BA in pharmaceutical sciences from The Ohio State University and a BA in chemistry from Miami University. He then earned his MSPH degree with specialization in biomedical informatics from The Ohio State University before earning his DO degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He says he chose Emory because "I had an excellent experience while doing an away rotation here. Emory offers a welcoming, inclusive environment with seemingly endless opportunities to learn from and work with current and future leaders in the field of radiology. I am extremely excited to be a part of this program."
In his down time, Douglas enjoys walking his dogs Lawine and Leo, playing pickup soccer, going rock climbing, practicing guitar, traveling to new places, and learning German.
