Core Service Administrator - Clinic Operations
As Administrator of Clinic Operations, Twyna has operational oversight of the Physician Group Practice (PGP) for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. Her goal is to ensure that the department's diagnostic and interventional radiologists have what they need to provide outstanding patient care, whether via a clinical appointment for an in-person imaging study or image-guided procedure, or via a telehealth appointment.
Twyna has 23 years of healthcare operations experience which spans commercial insurance, general surgery, surgical oncology, cardiology, and radiology. She joined Emory Healthcare in October 2011 as the Senior Manager of Business Operations for all operating units and outpatient sites of the Department of Cardiology.
Twyna earned an MBA with a concentration in healthcare management from Winston-Salem State University in 2007 and a doctor of business administration degree with a concentration in healthcare administration from Liberty University in 2021.
She graduated from the Emory Radiology Leadership Academy in 2020. Twyna is preparing for her medical coding certification to understand better and assist with the billing and revenue cycle needs of the Department of Radiology.
